Cooper Anderson scored with 1:15 left in overtime to give the Aberdeen Wings a 2-1 victory over the Bismarck Bobcats in NAHL hockey Saturday night at the Odde Ice Center.

The contest was tight throughout with neither team scoring in the first or third periods, and both netting one goal in the second.

Aberdeen’s Jonathan Doucette scored on a power play early in the second period with assists from Caden Lee and Sam Scheetz.

Anderson provided the game-winner on a power play in the OT with assists from Owen Pitters and Jibber Kuhl.

Adam Dybal stopped 24 shots in goal for the Wings, who outshot the Bobcats 30-25.

The victory puts the Wings on the heels of the Bobcats in the Central Division standings, trailing by just two points. Austin leads the division seven points ahead of Aberdeen.

The Wings are home again next weekend, hosting Minot on Friday and Saturday with puck drop at 7:15 each night at the Odde.
