NSU women improve to 3-1 with win over Mines

SIOUX FALLS – The Northern State women’s basketball team won its third game in a row with a 64-51 non-conference victory over South Dakota Mines on Saturday afternoon.

The Wolves had eight players with at least five points in the triumph led by Izzy Moore with 16.

Taylor Tool added 11 points to the NSU total, while Morgan Fiedler and Megan Counts each finished with seven.

The Wolves owned a 42-27 advantage in rebounds led by Lily Klein with eight, and Moore with seven.

Northern, 3-1 on the season, hosts Jamestown on Tuesday at Wachs Arena in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference opener for both teams.
