Herreid-Selby Area and Hamlin both picked up wins in SoDak 16 volleyball action Tuesday night and advanced to next week’s state tournament in Rapid City.
Herreid-Selby Area edged Burke 15-13 in the fifth set to advance to the Class B portion of the tourney. Jordyn Rossow had 21 kills and 21 digs to lead the win.
Hamlin defeated West Central in four sets to advance to the State A tourney.
Meanwhile, Groton fell in five sets to Rapid City Christian, despite racking up 45 kills in the match.
Miller also fell in Class A action to St. Thomas More.
