Wings pull away from St. Cloud, improve to 6-1

The Aberdeen Wings scored three unanswered goals to defeat St. Cloud 5-2 in NAHL hockey action Saturday night at the Odde Ice Center. Aberdeen is now 6-1 on the young season.

Jonathan Doucette, Matthew Martin, and Brady Dustin each found the back of the net in the third period as the Wings pulled away from a 2-2 tie en route to the victory.

Taven James and Owen Pitters each scored first-period goals for Aberdeen.

The Wings outshot St. Cloud by a 47-21 margin.

Aberdeen hosts Minot for two games this coming weekend.
