Golden Eagles finish 12th at Brookings tourney

BROOKINGS – Aberdeen Central shot a team score of 332 to finish 12th in team points during the Bill Scholten Invitational Golf Tournament on Monday.

O’Gorman won the event with a total of 295. Charlie Swift of Harrisburg shot a 70 to earn medalist honors, one stroke ahead of a trio right behind him.

Central was led by Cole Brust who finished 45th with an 81. Easton Kludt and Jackson Ravelette both had rounds of 83, and finished 56th and 58th, respectively.

Maddox Dinger shot an 86 for the Golden Eagles.

Central will compete at the Mitchell Invitational on Friday.
