Braun tied for first at Notah Begay tourney

FARIBAULT, Minn. – Aberdeen’s Olivia Braun is in a three-way tie for first in the Girls’ 16-18 Division at the Notah Begay Tournament at Golf at the Legacy on Monday.

Braun shot a first round total of 76. Others with the identical score include Ruby Reding of Minnetonka, Minn., and Selena Wu of Eden Prairie, Minn.

Claire Crawford is 12th in that division with a 91.

Aberdeen’s Mackenzie Wegehaupt is in eighth in the Girls’ 14-15 Division following a round of 90.

In the Boys’ 16-18 Division, Onida’s Gavin Colson is in 25th after shooting a round of 80. Beckham McPeck of Agar is 16th in the Boys’ 12-13 Division with an 80.
