South Dakota runners to compete at national meet Wednesday

EUGENE, Ore. – Two South Dakota distance aces will be running in back-to-back races at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Wednesday afternoon.

Former Rapid City Stevens standout Simeon Birnbaum of Oregon will be competing in the 1,500-meter run 4:21 p.m. (Pacific time zone).

Moments later former Warner standout Cody Larson of South Dakota State will be competing in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at 4:38 p.m. (Pacific).
