GROTON – Groton scored a season-high seven goals and improved to 4-1-1 on the season with a 7-2 boys’ soccer win over Dakota Valley on Saturday afternoon.
Ethan Kroll led the scoring outburst with three goals. Easton Weber found the back of the net twice, while Ryder Schwan and Trey Tietz each scored once for the Tigers.
Connor Kroll finished with a pair of assists. Logan Olson, Ryder Schwan, Weber, and Ivan Schwan each had one assist.
TC Schuster recorded five saves in goal.
Groton is off until playing at West Central next Saturday.
