SIOUX FALLS – Jonathan DeBoer of Twin Brooks finished third in the Boys Division at the Sanford International Series Tuesday at Willow Run Golf Course.
DeBoer, who competed for Milbank in high school, finished with a 36-hole total of 149, which featured a round of 73 during the second round. Seth Hettick of Roscoe finished 14th with a total of 154.
Drew Simon of Crooks won the Boys’ team championship with a 144, one stroke better than Will Peterson of Brandon.
Aberdeen’s Claire Crawford took seventh in the Girls Division with a two-day total of 161. Sisseton’s Kenzley Heath was 12th with a 168.
Ari Jacobs of Sioux Falls won the Girls championship with a 36-hole total of 155. Stella Smith of Sioux Falls was second, Tori Peterson of Flandreau was third, and Katie Betsworth of Dakota Dunes was fourth, all with rounds of 157.
