Winter Coach of the Year winners announced

The South Dakota High School Coaches Association has announced its Winter Coach of the Year awards.

Recipients include Boys’ Basketball, Tim Buddenhagen of Huron; Girls’ Basketball, Matthew Rama of Mahpiya Luta; Boys’ Wrestling, Mike Abell of Sturgis; Girls’ Wrestling, Joel Martin of Spearfish; and Gymnastics, Sherri Johnson of Estelline.

They coaches will be honored at an awards banquet on Sunday, July 19, at the Mitchell Performing Arts Center.
