LaBrie helps power Patriots to 281 team title

HURON – Logan LaBrie won four open events to help Hitchcock-Tulare capture the boys’ team championship at the 281 Conference Track and Field Meet on Tuesday. LaBrie won the 300-meter intermediate hurdles, the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash, and the triple jump.

Wolsey-Wessington’s Sawyer Nelson won the 110-meter high hurdles and the javelin, and ran on the winning 1,600-meter relay squad.

Wolsey-Wessington edged Hitchcock-Tulare by three points to win the girls’ team crown.

Tessa Hinman of Sunshine Bible Academy won the 100, the 200, and ran on winning 800 and 1,600-meter relay teams.
