Wings drop road contest to Austin

AUSTIN, Minn. – The Aberdeen Wings fell behind early and ended up falling to the Austin Bruins 3-1 in NAHL hockey action Saturday night.

The Bruins scored twice in the opening period to set the tone for the night.

Aberdeen got on the board when Cooper Anderson found the back of the net with 8:23 remaining on assists from Caden Lee and Matthew Martin.

Austin outshot the Wings 32-25 in the contest.

Aberdeen and Austin will face each other again next weekend at the Odde Ice Center in Aberdeen. Puck drop is set for 7:15 nightly.
