The Aberdeen Wings scored three unanswered goals in the second period to fuel a 6-3 NAHL hockey win over Minot Saturday night at the Odde Ice Center.

Aberdeen jumped in front in the opening period on goals from Jibber Kuhl and Matthew Martin. However, the Minotauros responded and tied the score at 2-2 after one.

The Wings then took control in the second as Jonathon Doucette, Cooper Anderson, and Taven James all found the back of the net.

Minot scored in the third to cut the deficit to 5-3 before Kuhl scored again for the final margin of difference.

Aberdeen outshot Minot 38-29. Adam Dybal had 26 saves in goal for the Wings.

Aberdeen will host Watertown at 7:15 p.m. Friday at the Odde before traveling to Watertown for a game on Saturday.
