Wings doubled up by St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Aberdeen Wings erased a two-goal deficit before St. Cloud produced two more goals in a 4-2 victory in NAHL hockey Friday night.

After a scoreless first period, the Norsemen scored twice to start the second period before Aberdeen responded. Taven James scored the first Wings goal on assists from Charlie Burchfield and Briggs Orr, before Matthew Martin tied the game with an unassisted goal late in the period.

The hosts then scored two more times in the third to record the victory.

The Wings outshot St. Cloud by a 40-25 margin. Adam Dybal stopped 21 shots in goal for Aberdeen.

The same two teams are back at it tonight.
