CLARK – Aberdeen Roncalli battled, but like all of the other Clark-Willow Lake opponents this season, came up short against the Cyclones Thursday night.

Fourth-rated Clark-Willow Lake improved to 17-0 on the season following a 25-15, 25-17, 25-23 Northeast Conference volleyball victory.

“I thought the girls played very well tonight,” said Roncalli coach Leesa Ware. “Despite the score, we played strong against an undefeated team. Clark-Willow Lake is an exceptional team. We just made too many errors and couldn’t find their holes tonight.”

The Cyclones racked up 10 ace serves to help fuel the win. Zoe Nichols had five and Eliza Larson added four. Shelby Begeman topped the squad with nine kills.

Rylee Voeller led the Cavaliers with 10 kills, while Jill Ellwein and Karsyn Davis each followed with five.
