Wolves balance helps secure win over Golden Bears

Northern State placed four players in double-figure scoring to grab another Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference victory Friday night.

The Wolves won their fourth straight contest with a 71-61 decision over Concordia-St. Paul at Wachs Arena.

Madelyn Bragg paced NSU with 18 points, Alayna Benike followed with 16 points and 11 rebounds, and Rianna Fillipi finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists. Decontee Smith contributed 10 points to the Northern total.

The Wolves are now 13-4 on the year and 9-2 in the conference. NSU hosts Minnesota Duluth at 4 this afternoon.
