De SMET - Miller's one-two punch of Alex Schumacher and Pierce Baumberger helped carry the Rustlers to the boys' team championship at the De Smet Invitational cross country meet on Thursday.
Schumacher won the boys' race with Baumberger second. Miller's Kellan Hurd and Tyson Kindle finished 11th and 12th respectively.
Isabelle Bloker of Sioux Valley won the girls' race to help power the Cossacks to the team crown as well, two points better than Clark-Willow Lake. Halle Bauer of Great Plains Lutheran finished second individually.
