Northwestern has moved up to second in this week’s Class B media volleyball poll.
The Wildcats, who went 4-2 this past week, were rated fourth in last week’s initial poll. Northwestern’s two setbacks came to Warner, which continues to be rated number one in Class B, and Wagner, rated third in Class 9A.
Warner improved to 6-0 on the season with a win over fourth-rated Wolsey-Wessington Monday night. The Monarchs received all 14 first-place votes.
Hamlin received one vote in Class A as did Faulkton in Class B.
O’Gorman remained number one in Class AA and Sioux Falls Christian stayed in the top spot in Class A. Both were unanimous selections.
