Herreid-Selby Area’s Brenden Begeman has the top throw in the shot put and moved into the third spot in the triple jump following the Region 2B meet on Wednesday in this week’s Class B track and field leaders.
Ipswich’s Ty Kadlec continues to be second in the 200 and sixth in the 100. Other Ipswich athletes can also be found in a variety of events. Carter Geditz is tied for third in the 110-meter high hurdles, Zach Geditz is third in the discus, and Colby Sylte is fifth in the long jump.
Aberdeen Roncalli’s Maddox May is second in the 300 hurdles, while teammate Jayden Munroe is fourth in the triple jump and seventh in the 200. Faulkton’s Hunter Niederbaumer is fifth in the 1,600 and sixth in the 800.
On the girls’ side, Ella Boekelheide of Northwestern leads the 1,600 and 3,200, and is seventh in the 800. Jessica Boekelheide is second in the 400, and third in the 100 and 200.
Roncalli’s Morgan Fiedler is second in the triple jump, tied for third in the long jump, is fourth in the 100 and eighth in the 200.
Potter County’s Makaivry Schatz has moved into first in the pole vault with Ipswich’s Marley Guthmiller second. Emma Schlachter of Potter County is third in the 800. Hitchcock-Tulare’s Katelyn Schroeder is third in the triple jump.
