A pair of Aberdeen Central seniors continue to lead the Golden Eagles among the Class AA track and field leaders.

Josh Martin ran a season-best time in the 3,200 meters this past week at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays and is second in AA. He is also second in the 800 and third in the 1,600.

Sam Rohlfs, who is still working his way back from an injury, continues to have the best distances in the long jump and triple jump. Rohlfs is also third in the 200 and seventh in the 100.

Aiden Heimann is third in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles and sixth in the 110-meter high hurdles.

On the girls’ side, eighth-grader Taryn Hermansen is third in the shot put after a season-best throw last weekend at the O’Gorman Invitational, while Ciara Frank is third in the high jump.
