Former Northern standout wins Grandma’s Marathon

DULUTH, Minn. – Former Northern State cross country and track and field standout Dakota (Bullen) Lindwurm won the women’s division at the 45th Annual Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth on Saturday. Lindwurm is the first Minnesota woman to win the event since 1987.

Lindwurm, who lives in Eagan, Minn., clocked a time of 2:29.04, the fastest time in her career. She earned All-NSIC, All-Region and All-America honors while running for the Wolves.
