The top teams retained their spots in this week’s Prep Media football polls. Unbeaten Timber Lake was the biggest mover, climbing two spots in Class 9A after knocking off previously unbeaten Sully Buttes last Friday. As a result the Chargers slipped from third to fifth.

Area teams remained in their previous spots from a week ago.

Castlewood stayed second in Class 9A, Warner remained third and Hitchcock-Tulare fifth in Class 9B, Hamlin continued in third and Britton-Hecla fourth in Class 9AA, and Clark-Willow Lake and Deuel remained third and fifth, respectively in Class 11B.

This week marks the final week of the regular-season for Class 11B and all nine-man teams with playoffs starting next week. The rest of the classes will finish off their regular seasons next week.
