West Central defeats Groton in girls’ soccer

GROTON – West Central blanked Groton 2-0 in girls’ soccer action on Monday.

The Trojans received two second-half goals from Addison Durband in the victory.

Groton, which slipped to 5-6 on the season, closes out the regular season by hosting Garretson on Thursday.

“Was not enough attacking moments out of us today,” said Groton coach Matt Baumgartner, “but we are looking to flush this one and start preparing for playoff soccer.”
