Britton-Hecla has cracked the top five in Class 9AA in this week’s Prep Media football polls.

The Braves, 5-1 on the season, moved from up receiving votes last week. They handed Waubay-Summit its first loss of the season last Friday.

Clark-Willow Lake inched up one spot to third in Class 11B, while Deuel slipped two spots to fifth after suffering its first setback against top-rated Elk Point-Jefferson. Hamlin remained third in Class 9AA, Castlewood stayed second and Sully Buttes third in Class 9A, and Warner is still third in Class 9B.

Hitchcock-Tulare moved into the receiving votes category after losing its first game at Warner last Friday.
