BROOKINGS – Former Warner standout and Northern State recruit Jesiah Baum was named the Offensive Most Valuable Player during the Senior Bowl football game Saturday in Brookings.

Baum hauled in a pass over the middle from Centerville’s Alec Austin and sprinted 96 yards for a touchdown to help lead the Blue to a 14-8 win over the Red.

The blue team also received a 1-yard TD run from Carter Gross of West Central.

Team Red had taken an 8-6 lead on a 55-yard pass interception return by Laythan Lucas of Spearfish and the following PAT. Lucas was named the Defensive MVP.

Dylan Williams of Brandon Valley led Blue with five tackles.

Yankton’s Owen Eidsness had 51 yards receiving to lead the Red.
