Aberdeen’s Kathy Onkka and Lisa Trenhaile were recently inducted into the South Dakota 8-Ball Hall of Fame by the South Dakota Pool and Dart Tournament Corporation.

Onkka has recorded many top finishes in the South Dakota State singles and team tournament, including recently winning the Women’s A Division singles title. She also competed in numerous national tournaments in Las Vegas and her team finished second in the Sportswomen’s Division in 2024.

Trenhaile won her first Women’s Masters singles championship in 2011, followed by a second title a few years later. She was also on teams that placed many times in the Women’s A Division. She has competed in numerous national tournament in Las Vegas and her team placed second in the Sportswomen’s Division in 2024.
