Northern State racked up five pins, and three technical falls on the way to winning every weight class in a 52-0 dual victory over Minot State at Wachs Arena Friday night.
The Wolves also added a major decision among their victories during the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference dual.
Sloan Johannsen got NSU off to a fast start with a 16-0 technical fall victory in the opening period.
Clay Gates and Krayle Stormer followed that with back-to-back pins for the Wolves.
Northern’s Rudy Lopez added another tech fall win before Griffin Lundeen and Izaak Hunsley provided two more back-to-back pins.
Daman Pape scored a major decision with a 14-4 win, Brady Westall had Northern’s final pin, Ryan Hirschkorn followed with an 8-2 win, and Ayden Viox capped the night with another tech fall win.
The Wolves, 7-4 overall and 4-4 in the NSIC, are back in action on Sunday hosting 13th-rated St. Cloud State at noon at Wachs Arena.
