Castlewood remains unbeaten with win over Dell Rapids

BROOKINGS – A trio of players combined for 47 points to help power top-rated Class B Castlewood to a 64-59 non-conference boys’ basketball win over Dell Rapids during the Entringer Scholarship Classic on Wednesday afternoon.

Kamden Keszler scored 17 points, Brody Bass followed with 16, and Leonard Wernke added 14 for the Warriors, who improved to 4-0 on the season. Wernke also hauled down 10 rebounds.

Dell Rapids was led by Camden Jones with 15 points.

CASTLEWOOD (4-0): Brody Bass 5 3-4 16, Tyson Manley 1 3-4 5, Leonard Wernke 5 4-10 14, Kamden Keszler 5 4-8 17, Will Aderhold 2 0-0 4, Trevor Everson 2 4-6 8. Totals 20-46 18-32 64.

DELL RAPIDS (1-5): Karson Pay 1 3-4 5, Lincoln Anderson 3 0-0 7, Camden Jones 7 1-2 15, Jackson Peppel 3 1-3 8, Jace Brende 2 2-2 6, Kaden Smith 2 1-2 6, Andrew Schoeberl 3 2-2 9, Hudson Wolff 1 0-0 3. Totals 22-56 10-15 59.
