As it has all season long, Class 11AA remained a model in movement in the final Prep Media football polls of the season.

In a year that saw a variety of teams jump into and out of the top five as well as move anywhere among the top five in 11AA, Yankton moved into the top spot in the final poll of the season. Pierre inched up to second, while Huron slipped from first to third. Brookings and Watertown both moved into the top five this week, at fourth and fifth, respectively.

Meanwhile, Sioux Falls Lincoln leapfrogged Brandon Valley into the number one position in Class 11AAA. Both teams each received 11 first-place votes.

Sioux Falls Christian is the unanimous number one team in Class 11A.

The South Dakota Prep Media Football Poll for the week of Oct. 27 is listed below, ranking the top-five teams in each class, record, total points and previous ranking. First-place votes are listed in parentheses.
