Groton soccer squads blanked by West Central

HARTFORD – Both of Groton’s soccer teams were held scoreless by West Central on Saturday. West Central won both the boys’ and girls’ games by identical 1-0 scores.

Gage Sippel had 13 saves in goal for the Tigers.

Groton hosts Dakota Valley in a doubleheader on Monday. The Groton girls are rated third, while Dakota is the top-rated team in Class A.
