Groton collects boys’ soccer win over West Central

GROTON – Groton used a balanced attack to grab a 2-1 boys’ soccer victory over West Central on Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers received goals from Axel Abeln and Ethan Kroll, and assists from Ryder Schwan and Karson Zak.

Goalie Gage Sippel had a big game in net for the Tigers, finishing with 15 saves.

The Tigers, 5-1-1 on the season, play at Vermillion on Saturday.
