WATERTOWN – Aberdeen Central bounced back into the win column Monday afternoon, claiming a 3-0 win over Watertown on the road. The win comes just one game after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Sioux Falls Lincoln, and pushes the Golden Eagles to 3-1-2 in its last six outings and 6-2-3 overall. The loss was just the second of the season for the Arrows.

“Boys played a really complete game,” said Central coach Lance Mohr. “Zander (Kuhfeld) had some nice saves and we took advantage of a few of their mistakes.”

Central’s goals came via an own goal before Bryson Burgard and Tyler Bain found the net.

Central is now third in Class AA seed points as the postseason wind downs.

The Golden Eagles will host Yankton in the final home contest of the regular season Saturday. Game time is set for noon at the Brownell Activities Complex.
