There was no shortage of close matches during the opening day of the annual Hub City Open Tennis Tournament at the Northern State Courts on Saturday.
After a two-hour rain delay to start the day, action heated up on the courts with six matches decided on super-tiebreakers. There were also five tiebreakers on the day, including two in one match.

Action concludes today with semifinals and finals in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. The first matches begin at 8 a.m.
