James Valley Christian runners sweep 281 XC titles

WESSINGTON SPRINGS – James Valley Christian runners dominated the competition at the 281 Conference Cross Country Meet on Wednesday afternoon.

The Vikings had three of the top four runners on the way to winning the boys’ team title, and four of the top six runners en route to capturing the girls’ team crown.

JVC’s Kaden Ober won the boys’ race with teammates Levi Crandall and Giddeon Waldner finishing second and fourth, respectively.

Hadasah Olson of JVC topped the girls’ field. Other Vikings included Lily Faul in third, Kielynn Ober in fifth, and Mykelti Olson in sixth.

Highmore-Harrold was led by seventh place finishes from Brooks McPeak in the boys’ race, and Jaylynn Knox in the girls’ race.
