WATERTOWN – Aberdeen Central’s first road softball game of the season resulted in a 15-0 setback to Watertown in an Eastern South Dakota Conference contest on Thursday evening.

The hosts scored in every inning of the four-inning contest.

The Arrows collected five extra-base hits in the game, highlighted by a pair of home runs from Lauryn Hirsch, who drove in five runs in the victory.

The Golden Eagles managed just one hit, that coming from Abby Frank in the third at-bat of the game in the top of the first inning. Central loaded the bases with one out before Watertown got out of the jam on back-to-back strikeouts.
