Havlacek powers ECC all-conference boys’ team

Player of the Year Waubay-Summit sophomore Hogan Hlavacek headlines the Eastern Coteau Conference all-conference boys’ basketball team.

Britton-Hecla’s Troy Knecht was named ECC Coach of the Year.

Other first-team selections are senior Will Richter of Britton-Hecla; sophomore Carson Kelly of Florence-Henry; junior Wylie Rydell of Tri-State; sophomore Jace Wohlleber of Waubay-Summit; and senior Kyle Kneeland of Waverly-South Sore.

Members of the second team are senior Jaxon Zuehlke and sophomore Chaz Vietor of Britton-Hecla; senior Jarret Bauer, and sophomore Isaac Kjenstad of Great Plains Lutheran; sophomore Spencer Ries of Waverly-South Shore; and senior Ethan Schwenn of Wilmot.
