Hamlin, Castlewood, Sully Buttes pick up SoDak 16 victories

CHAMBERLAIN – Hamlin held Rapid City Christian to four points in the first quarter and six in the third period on the way to a 65-33 Class A SoDak 16 boys’ basketball victory Tuesday night.

Hamlin, which improved to 20-3, received at least eight points from five different players.

Boden Stevenson tossed in 18 points, and Aiden Abraham followed with 16 for the Chargers, who will face Northeast Conference foe Groton in the opening round of next week’s state tournament in Rapid City.

Jackson Wadsworth added 13 points to Hamlin total, while Trig Heinrich and Jack Stormo each contributed eight.
