NSU men claim road win over Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.D. – Northern State scored a dozen unanswered points to start the game and picked up an 86-77 men’s college basketball win over Jamestown in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

Five different players scored for the Wolves in the quick start to the contest.

Joshua Book topped NSU with 19 points, while Simon Akena and Marshawn Smith each contributed 17.

Northern shot 60.8 percent from the field in the victory.

The Wolves improved to 5-9 overall and 5-3 in the NSIC. Northern has games at Wayne State on Friday and at Augustana on Saturday.
