WEST FARGO, N.D. – The Aberdeen Cougars picked up a pair of girls’ road hockey victories defeating West Fargo United 2-1 on Friday and 3-0 on Saturday.

“Our girls played well – moved the puck, got good looks, and made smart plays,” said Cougars coach Amy Munsterman-Wills. “We did a good job turning that into a lead and taking advantage of a power play today.”

Kaylee Dixon and Leah Kranzler found the back of the net for Aberdeen on Friday, while Dixon, Rachel Siefken, and Addy Keller scored goals for the Cougars in Saturday’s victory.

“Overall, all of our lines were playing really well,” Munsterman-Wills said. “Calley Gage had a great weekend – winning faceoffs, good hustle, backchecking, and winning battles.”
