Groton boys edged by unbeaten James Valley Christian

HURON – Groton fell to James Valley Christian 3-2 in a battle of Class A boys’ soccer powers on Tuesday.

The Tigers received goals from Karsten Fliehs and Ethan Kroll against JVC, which improved to 7-0 on the season. Karson Zak contributed an assist.

Gage Sippel collected 18 saves in goal for Groton, now 5-2-1.

The Tigers play at Vermillion on Saturday.
