Groton boys blanked by James Valley Christian

GROTON – The Groton boys’ soccer team fell 3-0 to top-rated James Valley Christian on Class B soccer action on Thursday.

JVC improved to 9-1 on the season with its second win over the Tigers this year.

Gage Sippel had 16 saves in goal for Groton, which slipped to 6-4-2.

The Tigers play at West Central on Saturday, before hosting Dakota Valley on Monday.
