Groton boys battle Freeman Academy to another draw

FREEMAN – For the second time this season, Groton and Freeman Academy ended up in a boys’ soccer tie. The two squads, which tied 2-2 in Groton a few weeks ago, battled to a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon.

Groton received a goal from Becker Bosma with an assist from Karson Zak. Gage Sippel stopped 14 shots in goal for the Tigers.

Groton, 6-3-2 on the season, hosts James Valley Christian on Thursday.
