The Leola-Frederick boys have now moved into the top five in Class B, while the Aberdeen Central girls are in the receiving votes category in the lastest Prep Media basketball polls.
Leola-Frederick, 4-0 on the season, is tied for fifth. The Central girls are 3-1 on the campaign.
Among other area squads, Castlewood continues to be rated first in Class B boys, Hamlin is rated second in Class A boys with three first-place votes, and third in Class A girls with one first-place vote. Mobridge-Pollock is receiving votes in Class A girls.
Other top-rated teams include Mitchell in AA boys, Sioux Falls Christian in A Boys, O’Gorman in AA girls, Sioux Falls Christian in A girls, and Centerville in B Girls.
There will be no polls next week.
