Northwestern jumps back into top five in Class B poll

Northwestern, which is tied for the second most wins in the state in any class, is back among the top five teams among Class B in the latest Prep Media volleyball polls. The Wildcats are now rated fifth.

Hitchcock-Tulare, at 19-0, has the most wins of any program in the state. The Patriots are rated fourth in Class B, one spot behind third-rated Warner.

Miller is rated fourth in Class A, while Hamlin is just about the top five, receiving votes.

Dakota Valley is the new top-ranked team in Class A.

Here is the South Dakota Media volleyball poll for the week of Sept. 30, 2024. Teams are listed with first place votes in parenthesis, record, points and previous ranking.
