The South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association has announced its Region Coach of the Year awards.
Among the area Boys’ Coach of the Year recipients are Brock Pashen of Leola-Frederick in Region 1, Todd Neuendorf of Hamlin in Region 2; Assistant Coach of the Year: Kyle Gerlach of Groton in Region 1, Travis Wadsworth of Hamlin in Region 2, and Brice Cunningham of Faulkton in Region 3; and Region 1-4 Lower Level Coach of the Year: Bill Clemens of Northwestern.
Among the area Girls’ Coach of the Year winners are Derek Larson of Aberdeen Roncalli in Region 1; and Assistant Coach of the Year: Trent Traphagen of Groton in Region 1.
