CASTLEWOOD – Castlewood racked up 17 hits, including four for extra bases, on the way to an 16-6 softball victory over Sioux Valley on Monday.
Sophia Kudrna, Bridgette Horn, Natalie Akin and Cassidy Kirwan each had three hits for the Warriors, who scored nine times to end the game in the fifth-inning on the 10-run rule. Lilly Jacobsen, who homered for Castlewood, and Kirwan each drove in four runs.
Savana Guthmiller had three hits for Sioux Valley.
