Area athletes compete at all-star basketball games

SIOUX FALLS – The Navy swept the White squads during the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association all-star basketball games at the Sanford Pentagon on Friday night.

The Navy girls, led by 21 points from Caylin Kelly of Florence-Henry, defeated the White 86-74. Navy outscored White 31-20 in the final quarter to secure the victory.

Navy outscored White by a margin of 114-110 to win the boys’ contest. Castlewood’s Lane Tvedt contribute nine points in the victory. Tyson Stevenson of Hamlin scored 11 points for the White squad.

Navy 86, White 74
