The Eastern Coteau Conference has named its all-conference basketball teams.
The girls’ team is led by MVP Caylin Kelly of Florence-Henry, and Coach of the Year Mitch Reed of Florence-Henry. The boys’ team is highlighted by MVP Jackson Wohlleber of Waubay-Summit, and Coach of the Year Joe Dalton of Waverly-South Shore.
Girls first team All-ECC selections include: Sterling Brassfield of Britton-Hecla, Caylin Kelly, Taylor Watson and Haley Hlavacek of Florence-Henry, Halle Bauer of Great Plains Lutheran, Shali Laurence of Tri-State, Eva Benike of Waubay-Summit, and Addison Heinje of Wilmot.
Second team members are: Tiyanna Schott of Britton-Hecla, Reese Schmidt of Florence-Henry, Olivia Holmen and Abby Kjenstad of Great Plains Lutheran, Iceli Rabbithead of Tri-State, and Faith Larson of Waubay-Summit.
Boys first team All-ECC honorees are: Carson Vavruska of Florence-Henry, Alex Heil of Great Plains Lutheran, Kaleb Foltz of Tri-State, Jackson Wohlleber of Waubay-Summit, and Sam Appelhof and Zach Ries of Waverly-South Shore.
