There are two new number-one rated basketball teams in this week’s Prep Media polls.
White River has taken over the top spot in Class B boys after last week’s top squad Viborg-Hurley fell twice, while Flandreau is the new number one team in Class A girls after last week’s number one Sisseton suffered its first setback of the season.
Other teams remaining their top spots are Mitchell in Class AA boys, Sioux Falls Christian in Class A boys, O’Gorman in Class A girls, and Ethan in Class B girls.
Area teams in the poll are Hamlin, rated second in Class A boys, and Sisseton, rated fourth in Class A girls.
Leola-Frederick continues to receive votes in Class B boys.
