There was one change among the top-rated teams in this week’s Prep Media basketball polls.
Centerville took over the top spot in Class B girls after last week’s top squad Ethan fell to Freeman.
Otherwise, the top teams all retained their positions. Those include Mitchell in Class AA boys, Sioux Falls Christian in Class A boys, Castlewood in Class B boys, O’Gorman in Class AA girls, and Flandreau in Class A girls.
While Castlewood was able to remain number one, White River is right behind the Warriors with only one less first-place vote.
Other area squads in the polls include Hamlin, which is second in Class A boys, Leola-Frederick which is receiving votes in Class B boys, Sisseton which is fourth in Class A girls, and Warner which is in the receiving votes category in Class B girls.
This will be the final poll for the Class A and Class B girls for the season.
